The Health Futures network consists of healthcare providers, payers, multinational corporations, start ups, government agencies, development organizations, investors and academic institutions based primarily in Asia including in Singapore, Philippines, China and India. We also conduct research and provide consulting services to industry and government partners on projects in the area of health systems transformation. Role and Responsibilities The Regional Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new revenue-generating engagements and opportunities in the region, aligned with the Health Futures and ACCESS Health mission. The coordinator will: 1. Identify and maintain new regional strategic partnerships S/he will help the ACCESS Health team to engage regionally-based stakeholders, including multilateral and governments, academia, non-profit organizations for ACCESS Health as potential funders, partners, or entities whom we should know. 2. Develop concept notes and proposals for large foundations and multilateral organizations for regional initiatives S/he will work with the ACCESS Health team to respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) or put forward new concepts to respond to funders by 1) understanding the procurement and funding cycles of major organizations and 2) writing grant and other related proposals. 3. Identify exchange areas for health innovations in the region With a clear understanding of trends and priorities of major stakeholders in the region, identify regional opportunities for health innovation for ACCESS Health. Such opportunities can include the development of regional exchange programs, an expansion of our startup and corporate networks under Health Futures, and global health leadership programs. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors-level degree with 8+ years of experience, or Masters-level degree with at least 3 years of experience. Degrees and experience related to public health, journalism, and/or business administration highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in grant proposal writing and successfully procuring grants for nonprofit organizations Key Competencies: Advanced verbal communications and writing skills with a strong ability to develop proposals, briefers, and Powerpoint decks. Demonstrated experience in liaising and stakeholder management, with keen sense of diplomacy and sensitivity to cross-cultural contexts.
