Company Overview Style Theory is a Fashion-Technology company that is redefining Fashion Consumption. We believe that there is an inefficiency in the way we consume fashion in today's world, and are on a mission to provide a smarter solution. We are currently Southeast Asia's largest and fastest growing Fashion Rental startup. Our core product is a Fashion Rental Subscription using a Netflix-for-Fashion model, the first and only of its kind in the region. Today, we are focused on building more products to improve Fashion Consumption and driving these solutions across the region. Job Summary Our operations team takes care of the fulfilment of our promise to our customers. This team takes care of the operational demands from when a customer rents to when an item is placed back into the inventory. There are 3 main areas of our operations: warehouse operations, dry-cleaning operations and logistics operations. This is a cross regional role that will be involved in driving innovation, ensuring efficient infrastructure is built and daily operations are maintain at optimum cost efficiency across all 3 teams. We're looking for a strategic thinker and a meticulous executor, someone with the ability to constantly challenge the status quo and building on our infrastructure that will influence strategic decisions on market expansion and the growth of new business line. Responsibilities Develop, lead and direct change across operations Drive strategic labor planning and forecasting across operations ensuring alignment to variable cost plans Strategise, manage and maintain an operating budget that are aligned with the company's cost reduction and expansion goals Ownership and accountability for operational goals/metrics and team's daily decision making and execution Constantly review and set up operational metrics that will help to track operational excellence Build strong teams and create structure and programs to improve metrics across departments Develop and share best practices across departments, divisions and networks Actively seek, design, implement and monitor continuous improvement processes for the organization Hiring, managing and developing team leads in every areas of operations through effective communication and strong operational capabilities Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees in operations to provide feedback, drive change within operations, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience Ensuring the development and continuous improvement in our inventory accuracy across multiple warehouses across the regions through the use of our inventory management system Be involved in new operational projects modelling and eventually build the new project with the business development team Develop and manage long term relationships with vendors in multiple countries to constantly seek tighter partnership collaboration Identify areas of future opportunity and trends in the business to continuously innovate in fulfillment, retail and customer experience Requirements Have worked in a relevant field (Operations, consulting or related field) for 3-6 years in a tech company with strong focus on warehouse fulfilment and logistics operations B.A. degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus 3-6 years of experience in leading and developing people and teams Familiar with operational techniques like Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Passionate about consumer goods and want to be at the forefront of making impact in the consumer industry Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Excel, Powerpoint etc and ability to operate warehouse computing tools Ability to quickly recognize, diagnose and solve for challenges and workflow for teams and leadership Forward-thinkers, with keen analytic skills and the ability to articulate point of view, develop systems/plans, and improve processes across the organization Ability to establish effective relationships across the organization and partner to navigate complex situations Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence leaders and effectively negotiate with internal and external business partners Experience managing budgets with the ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results Strong project development and implementation skills Must operate with a sense of urgency and have attention to detail Have a can do attitude and enjoy being challenged beyond the scope of work Show more
