Position Summary Lead the Project team to manage all engineering and project activities meeting cost, schedule and schedule and in compliance with cGMP, EHS and regulatory requirements. Lead the Maintenance Repair Operation (MRO) Store to support organization operation by managing the maintenance spare inventory, production consumables and PPE. Accountable for: Projecr management Cost/Budget control Project/contractor safety Project team performance Management & Employee Development Position Responsibilities Manage the Engineering Project activities for the plant including engineering design, cashflow, government permitting, execution of management of change and minor projects, validation, commissioning and documentation in compliance with cGMP, EHS and regulatory requirements. Lead in execution of major project as per PGE Project Execution Procedure through front end design, preliminary design, raising of CPA for approval, execution of detailed design by A/E company, management of construction works ensuring safety, cost and schedule compliance, carry out validation ( IQ/OQ ), support in commissioning and hand over for PQ. Managing project within CPA cost, schedule, safety and quality. Responsible for all government submissions and their approval for projects, working with Professional Engineer on projects related site inspections by government agencies. Maintain project cost data by developing information requirements using CPM project module. Establish and achieve financial objectives by preparing a project budget; scheduling and approving expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions. Establish project objectives by analysing project proposal; evaluating requirements, plans and collaborating with management for recommendations. Approve project specifications by analysing design, performance standards; approve technical studies and testing requirements according to establishing standards Plan and execute activities using computerized maintenance management system including computerized spares inventory control and bar-coding to achieved optimum results. Establish and control project plan by determining time frame, funding and staffing. Support Quality Operation in execution of equipment validation activities in projects. Maintain safe and clean construction environment by establishing and enforcing procedures, complying with legal requirements and regulations. Accomplish project staff result by communicating their job expectation, motivating, coaching and counselling individual staff; planning, monitoring, appraising their job performance and enforcing policies and procedures. Prepare project reports by collecting, analysing, trends and summarizing information. Evaluate and approve contractors in Contractor Pre-Qualification process; continue evaluate contractor performance in safety, quality and made necessary corrective action, if necessary. Manage the drafting office operation ensuring latest drawings are updated at all time and support site wide operation in drawing office services. Manage Contractor Safety Committee and program. Responsible for managing spare parts inventory in the Engineering store, ensure adequate spare inventory to support production Develop and execute contract engineering support to supplement in-house staff to meet project workload requirements. Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and seminars, reviewing publications, establishing networks and participating in professional associations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results as required. KPI's include: Project costing Project schedule Project cashflow Project quality and safety Contractor safety Department objectives EDUCATION Degree in Engineering. Experience At least 10 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/ Chemical / Petrochemical industry. Knowledge of Project Management skills. Familiar with government code of practice, regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). Excellent facilitation and communication skills. Registered Professional Engineer is preferred.
