Principal Analyst (Operations & Maintenance Systems) -12mths contract at Senoko Energy  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Business Process Improvement Conduct business needs analysis and identify key business challenges with business units and stakeholders Identify improvement opportunities to achieve business’ desired business outcomes. Application and IT business analysis and value Able to write functional and software requirements specifications To design and document application and data architectures Test and Rollout enhancement on systems and to train users and develop documentation on the system. Application and Data Management (Technical systems ownership) Able to plan Lifecycle management overhauls, refactoring and upgrades to ensure system technical stack operates only using manufacturer supported components. To design applications, that in conjunction with infrastructure architecture, comply with disaster recovery architecture and strategy, Application architecture and configuration: To maintain up-to-date (1) logical architecture, (2) software and component inventory, (3) configuration register, and (4) definitive media library for all applications under management Software defect resolution: to rectify all defects in applications and underlying software platforms or implement workarounds if manufacturers do not provide defect rectification patches. Application Operations To monitor application operations To tune applications performance in response to monitoring, and in line with performance guidelines Daily systems administration, plan and execute system disaster recovery To plan, execute and document batch operations and daemon/service upkeep operations. Plan and execute component and system upgrades/patching on both an emergency ad-hoc basis and routine systems patching cycles To carry out and document data cleansing and patching operations periodically with business users, to upkeep data quality Requirements A degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent At least 5 years relevant working experience Experience in systems analysis and ERP processes and concepts in a medium to large organization Experience in SAP PM and associated business processes and integration with SAP MM and FICO Experience in Master Data, Work Order Management, Preventive maintenance, Refurbishment and other Maintenance business processes Experience in at least one full system implementation cycle on SAP ECC 6 or higher is desirable Experience in SAP PM functionalities, system configuration, and Roles and Authorization Experience in reports generation and reporting platform integration with SAP (ie. Theobald, SSIS and PowerBI) Certifications SAP PM Certification is highly desirable Other certifications are a plus: PMP, PRINCE2 CBAP, ITIL
