Job Description

The Senior Technician installs equipment and systems, and supervises installation and assembly work done by other Technicians and external vendors. The Technician independently maintains equipment and systems, and conducts the testing of equipment and systems. The individual is first to investigate equipment and system failures, in order to determine the cause and repair work required. The Technician maintains the energy and utilities systems at the manufacturing facility, performs checks and rectifies disruptions in energy supply. The specialist is knowledgeable in technical equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility, and supports the innovation of equipment, systems and controls in the manufacturing facility. The individual, who supervises and instructs Technicians within the Engineering and Maintenance team, understands Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
