Job Description
Responsibilities
Manage and monitor systems and infrastructure
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
Ensure compliance with departmental and enterprise security configuration
Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
Active role in Disaster Recovery Exercise
Provide 1st level support
Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3 years of working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux based environments.
Experience in the administration of application stacks (e.g.,Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Weblogic)
Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware)
Experience with Cloud technology (e.g AWS, Google Cloud)
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
