System Engineer at Yi-Ke Innovations Pte Ltd  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion. Responsibilities Sales Tender Accountable for identification and compliance of technical specifications, to advise the Sales team accordingly for input to Bid Review Act as the Subject Matter Expert for a technical solution Lead internally within the Solution team for pre-sales clarification/submission Direct and manage the partners/vendors for a solution proposal Responsible for tracking of the internal tender process, to update Sales team on any foreseeable slippage To attend all sales meeting with the client for solutions discussion Ensure Bid Review approval had been conducted and approved Lead internally within the Solution and PMO team for costing Ensure proper documentation on the solutions provided, to attach the relevant documents during Sales Handover activities to PMO Project Financial To assist PM for project P/L To assist PM for a monthly forecast for project billing, resource & materials planning & allotment Scope Management Understand the contractual obligation for the job assigned Understand the entire job scope In-depth knowledge of schematic diagram, Auto-CAD drawings and BIM drawings Participate in design discussion and execution Time Management Responsible for ensuring daily tracking of job status against the completion of assigned tasks Direct and manage resources and assign responsibilities to all workers or subcontractors Multi-tasking at a concurrent time Monitor, manage and highlight issues to ensure project closure in a timely manner Cost Management Assist in managing project cost against project allotted budget Involve in project scope creep to ensure variation cost is highlighted to customer Involve in the submission of progress claim, payment certificate and invoicing of works Quality Management In-depth knowledge for job execution with reference to the company’s ISO process Involve in project documentation for the entire project lifecycle ie. Progress report, UAT, SR, etc Participate in all deliveries and works are delivered base on the contract quantities and requirements Eg. Quality Control Procurement Management Assist in meeting with the clients for design clarifications and requirements, subsequently obtain approval on the proposed materials Involve in negotiation with vendors to obtain the best offer price Involve in the issuance of Bulk Purchase Orders Monitoring of delivering procurement to ensure smooth delivery HR Management The motivation of the team to increase morale and drive towards set targets Involve in managing cultural differences to ensure teamwork within the team Communication Management Act as a fallback point of contact during PM’s absence between customer and company Exercise regular update through email or written format and submission of progress report Attend technical meetings or discussion with customers Attend a working session with customers and other subcontractors Risk Management Maintain a Risk Management Plan which includes Risk register Regular monitoring of project risks Monitor additional works and do submission Site meeting/Site walk/Site related matters Involve in meeting with the clients for work progress, schedule of works, design clarifications and site requirements Responsible for submission of SIC, SWP, RA, MOS documents, etc Responsible for facilitating of SIC for workers/subcontractors Pre-work Site Survey Site walk with client/main contractor Pre-Sales Support Participate in pre-sales tender/discussion to support and input in the sales proposal Responsible for provision of labour estimation submission to the internal Sales team Other Matters Any other Job scope as assigned by the supervisor Job Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Post-Graduate Diploma/Profesional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Required Skill (s): System design Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
