The Internet and Cloud Connectivity team is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of data network services including WAN, Internet, and DDI services Summary & Role Information Your primary tasks include the design, deployment, operation and continuous improvement of the global WAN and Internet network infrastructure specific to our global Cloud Data Centers. Close cooperation with other GNS Cloud delivery team colleague Coordinate deployment of new WAN and Internet infrastructure and network services Provide subject matter expertise in the design of network services Responsible for third level incident support and problem management - ensuring 24x7x365 operation for our Cloud WAN infrastructure for both internal and customer facing connections Carry out network capacity planning, network performance monitoring, trending and reporting to ensure that network services match business requirements Interface with LoB’s, with focus on delivery of WAN/Internet services Provide administrative support for lifecycle management activities (including changes, incidents, service improvements) Flexibility to work on a schedule that is convenient for our customers Ensure compliance of vendor delivery to contractual agreement In collaboration with team, carry out network capacity planning, trending and reporting to ensure that network services match business requirements, and maintain historical data. Role Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering or equivalent. Skills Flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced and multi-cultural organization Excellent verbal and written communication skills High degree of motivation and goal orientation In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite Strong understanding of BGP and OSPF routing/switching technologies, protocols and security technologies, IPv6 experience advantageous, WAN technologies with high availability and high bandwidth Practical experience with large-scale network environments and device management Ability to communicate directly with end customers at various levels of technical ability #TCP #IP #BGP #OSPF #WAN What You Get From Us Success is what you make it.
