Job Description

Position Objective As an IT Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, management and support of the infrastructure services and solutions in a multi-platform, multi-vendor enterprise environment. Essential Functions Design, implement, and manage multi-platform, multi-vendor telecom/network infrastructure hardware, software, services and solutions Install, configure, monitor and manage structured cablings systems, telecom systems, LAN, WAN, WiFi, SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, Firewalls, VPNs and connectivity protocols in APAC offices Develop, implement and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans Monitor, review and analyze network and systems logs ensuring optimal network configurations and performance Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues Provision, support and manage SaaS/Cloud computing applications portfolio Provision, support and manage virtualization infrastructure Responsible for network infrastructure equipment and systems lifecycle Review, respond and support of network and systems inquiries from end users Participate in audits and adhering to corporate policies Participate in design, implementation and management of the security monitoring infrastructure Working with management to evaluate current systems and processes, identify gaps, define technical requirements, and assist in the selection of vendors and applications to meet the organization’s requirements Create and update departmental procedures, policies and manuals Develop, lead and manage project and work plans to drive projects to closure Required Education and Experience Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or in Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum 5+ years of working experience in Network Infrastructure Design and Support 5+ years of experience in a medium to large enterprise with following areas: Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches and firewalls as well as HPE Aruba WiFi System Experience in working with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP and BGP) and TCP/IP protocols Experience in managing LAN, WAN, WiFi, Firewall, Cisco AnyConnect VPN and Site-to-Site VPN tunnel Experience in working with Cloud-based Phone System (Fuze) and Cisco VoIP Phone System (CUCM) Working experience in Microsoft Windows Servers 2016/2019 and Virtualization Technology Working experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Office 365, Identity and Access Management (IAM), DNS and DHCP Experience in managing multiple projects, documentation and ability to prioritize Experience in contract and vendor management Working experience in change management Working experience in tactical and strategic planning Required Qualifications Preferred Certification: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Aruba, MCSA or equivalent work experience In-depth understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 network protocols and best practices Understand the latest network/security threats, issues and their mitigating solutions Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as a team, with good initiative to learn and deliver Supervisory Responsibilities None. Travel Requirement Up to 10% PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands describe here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and communicate, use hands/finger, feel and reach with arms. This position requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stoop as necessary and occasionally life office products, supplies, files and network equipment up to 20 kg. Other Duties Perform or assist with any departmental operations as required or directed to maintain workflow and meet production schedules and requirement.
