About the role â€“ Network Engineer - Job Description: Edge Technology Group is currently looking for a Network Engineer. This individual will work alongside the global Network Engineering team, as part of the Edge Technology Group Asia Pacific operation and will be tasked with providing Network engineering support and maintenance of our existing clientele in the region. As well as having strong 2nd â€“ 3rd line support skills within networking engineering, there will be a lot of involvement with various projects and green field deployments. The candidates should be self-motivated and keep up with new developments in the networking arena. The list of following skills/exposure are essential to the role and they will be discussed at length in the interview process and any candidates put forward for this role must have hands on practical experience of building and administering all of the below. Such skills will be tested extensively during the interview process which will include a combination of face to face interviews and lab based scenarios: Skills, Technologies & Vendors CCNP level or equivalent experience. Preferably INE/IP EXPERT trained EIGRP OSPF BGP DNS DHCP VLANs SPANNING-TREE (multi-vendor) VMware networking Cisco, Brocade, Juniper Cisco ASA CLI expert Excellent knowledge of creating and troubleshooting IPsec L2L VPNS GRE/VTI/DMVPN VRF lite Additional Skills (not Essential) Design Experience (SME). An ability to follow industry standards and best practices. Diagramming and Visio. Troubleshooting Skills in IPsec VPN.
