What We Do Asia Pacific Production Services Technology team is seeking an experienced Network Operations Senior Specialist to join our team based in Singapore reporting to the APAC Technology Network Services Manager. Operating as a senior member of the APAC Technology Networks & Communications Team, the candidate will ensure the delivery of consistent â€œhigh availabilityâ€ infrastructure solutions and services to BNY Mellon business units through rigorous management, strong working relationships and sound communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for all data network infrastructure within the APAC region and provide Level 2 support for Global Network Infrastructure, this will include responsibility of 2nd level support and network project deployment. This role will ensure exceptional support and service with the goal of meeting and surpassing agreed service levels and the expectations of our business partners and clients. The Network Operations Senior Specialist will develop strong relationships with other IT teams, vendors and business partners across all global regions to ensure the entire APAC network infrastructure is functional, reliable, available, maintainable, performing, secure and meets audit requirements. The Successful Candidate Will Focus on delivering appropriate quality of network production service in Asia Pacific Participate and comply with any management processes including incident, request, problem, change, capacity, availability, documentation, commoditizing services, asset management, asset compliance and financial transparency Provide 2nd Level incident support for APAC and Global data network infrastructure Deploy network projects in APAC and other regions based on global engineering standard Qualifications Core Competencies: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred. 8-10 yearsâ€™ experience in large scale network operations and project deployment required. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Project management/coordination experience Effective interaction with employees, customers and colleagues Fast learner with strong communication skills both verbal and written Good experience in LAN/WAN design, WAN circuit provisioning Branch office network build and operation experience Technical Competencies Data Center network experience: Spine/Leaf, VxLAN etc. Cisco Router/switch experience- Cat9k, Nexus switch (2k â€“ 9k), ISR 4K, ASR routers Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, BGPEVPN, multicast etc. Internet DMZ, Palo Alto Firewall, proxy, and VPN infrastructure experience Infoblox DNS, F5 GTM/LTM, Aruba WIFI experience BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
