Responsibilities 1. Responsible for the planning, design and buildout of ByteDance's global backbone network, data center network, edge and CDN network 2. Operate, incident management, and optimization of ByteDance's global networks. 3. Lead and work with network device providers and ISPs for device and network selection and verification 4. Work with cross-functional teams including but not limited to compute, storage, database, recommendation, and drive the innovation and evolution of ByteDance network Qualifications 1. Expertise in network operations and buildout with deep domain knowledge in network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF 2. Familiar with mainstream network devices and deep knowledge in the state-of-the-art data center networking technologies, and be proactive to various factors that affect data center network cost 3. Experience in designing, building and running large-scale network and computer systems is plus 4. Self-motivated, good at communication and coordination, thrive in processing complex situations and team collaboration 5. Bachelor's or higher degree in CS, EE, or related fields Show more
