Tencent CSIG (Cloud & Smart Industries Group) is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Network Operations and Maintenance Engineer for our offices in Singapore. As part of our new team, you will play an important part of Tencent’s expansion into Singapore. If the description below matches your background, please do not hesitate to get in touch or apply below. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above. 2. Minimum 3 years of related experience. Be familiar with TCP/IP, SDN. Be able to troubleshoot problems in Linux virtual network. 3. Be familiar with network devices, and proficient in network protocols (eg. ospf, bgp). Experience in network planning, operation and maintenance is a plus. 4. Have good understanding of major virtualization tools (eg. kvm, xen, hyper-v, lxc), and hands-on experience in troubleshooting virtual problems. 5. Be proficient in Linux and Windows OS. Have deep understanding of system performance related issues. 6. Be skilled in one or more scripts like Shell, Python and Perl. Be proficient in common commands like awk, sed, grep, strace, tcpdump, gdb etc. Responsibilities: 1. Plan and construct Tencent Cloud data center network, VPC, load balance platform. Improve operation and maintenance efficiency. 2. Analyze and solve network problem, provide methodology and improve technical ability in team. 3. Improve usability of network platform via technical method and process management. 4. Find unreasonable and inefficient aspect in daily work. Provide optimization plan and implement it. Show more
