JOB SCOPE Provide Level 2 onwards support for network Services, troubleshooting and resolving issues and fault relating to their service. To provide operational support for NOC services Must be familiar with Cisco Switches (MPLS) and Routers Key Responsibilities Point of contact for Level 1/2 escalation. Interacting with customers in a professional approach over the phone and via email. Taking ownership of troubleshooting and manage them in a logical and methodical manner Conducting full and through diagnostics for fault resolution. Ensuring all faults are progressed and cleared within agreed SLA – escalating to other internal and external teams as appropriate Diagnosing and resolving problems to the customers satisfaction. Identify and escalate repeat issues or service risks into service management teams. To work closely with higher Level support on user issues and problem resolution and provide cover when required. To ensure effective communication within teams and third parties. Qualifications Diploma / Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Studies, Information Technology or related discipline Technical Skills CCNP/CCNA is required Experience in troubleshooting and resolving WAN, LAN, WLAN and DHCP issues Experience in network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds Orion and MRTG Tools L2 support in network/securities infrastructure from system administration to troubleshooting technologies, such as:Cisco Switches, Routers, Wireless LAN network Cisco IP Telephony solution, Call Managers, IP Phone HP Switches, Wireless LAN network Alcatel Switches, PABX and IP Telephony solution Alcatel IP Telephony solution - PABX and IP Phone Aruba Wireless LAN network Ruckus Wireless LAN network UTM Security Service: Cisco, Checkpoint and Fortinet products Network Load balance appliances: F5 Escalation Show more
