Network System Engineer at Eurostop Ltd. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Network System Engineer Job Description We are looking to recruit a system\infrastructure administrator to join our Singapore Office, the position is a key role in the IT Operations team providing support for all company systems with responsibilities ranging from a day to day support of desktop\laptops, network, communications and server infrastructure both physical and virtual. This is a dynamic and broad technology role with the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the business requiring the successful candidate to be a motivated self-starter with a passion for IT and an understanding of business pressures and commercial requirements. Key Responsibilities Maintain company networking, desktops/laptops, and communications platforms Provide brilliant customer service remotely and in-person Flag and identify potential risks and weaknesses of the IT system Administration, pro-active maintenance, monitoring, and improvement of Security Infrastructure. Administration of Virtual Infrastructure including Datacenter Hosting and Private\Public Cloud Provisioning (Oracle cloud). Maintain and monitor backups, dealing with restores at a file, system, and image level. Disaster recovery Administration of all servers, systems, and services including Windows Domain Management and Production Server maintenance and builds. Design and recommend improvements in systems and services, always aiming to deliver solutions to drive the business forward. Use administration and monitoring tools to proactively manage the environment, alerting to and dealing with potential issues before they impact service delivery. Essential Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in the following areas: Wide Area and Local Area Networks. Firewall, Security, and Antivirus administration. Supporting Physical\Virtual Server Environments. Server support and configuration in the Windows server environment. Experience of Desktop/Workstation/Laptop builds and configuration Webserver engine administration (IIS) Personal Qualities Be self-motivated, able to set, and work to own deadlines. Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and accurately. Be committed and enthusiastic at working until issues are resolved. Be able to work accurately under pressure. Have strong communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent problem-solving skills. Be able to work well in a team, but also be capable of working on their own and taking the initiative when needed. Demonstrated track record of job stability and career growth.
