Network Engineer at S&I Systems Pte Ltd ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Network Engineer (located near Labrador Park MRT Station) This is a position with the Enterprise Services division in Networking and IT Securities practice. The role is responsible for supporting implementation, operation and maintenance activities. The role holder will work closely with the team in solutioning to meet business objectives, implementing the solution and resolving complex technical issues as well as administration related tasks. Job Responsibilities Solid foundation in networking and IT security will be the key to success in this role. Involve during the full deployment and integration during a project life-cycle. Will be hands-on with the implementation of and administration of networking devices like firewalls, routers, switches and load balancers Perform vulnerability scans, risk assessment, and overall layer 3 networking Job Requirements A diploma / higher NITEC / NITEC / professional certification in related field 1-3 years of network experience with a minimum of 1 year in providing end-user support. Good understanding with hands-on working experience of Firewall (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Checkpoint and etc) Good understanding with hands-on working experience of Security Systems (routers, switches, firewalls, antivirus, content filtering, etc.) Good understanding of all OSI layers, particularly Layer1 to Layer4 and relevant protocols. Demonstrated expertise in analysing and solving complex technical network problems. Working experience with system management tools (NMS), such as Network Analysis. Hands-on network administration and configuration experience in supporting Cisco, ALE, or Extreme Data Switches. CCNA and/or related vendor network certification preferred. Basic understanding of Unix/Linux skillset is preferred. Show more
