IP Services Presales Engineer at Nokia  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IP Services Presales Engineer is responsible to support in IP Product and Services tendering and presales activities including gathering information, high-level solution proposal, services tendering&costing and BoM creation. Key Responsibilities Of The Role Providing pre-sales technical and services tendering support in accordance to customer requirements. Analysing, designing and elaborating solutions to our customers and conducting technical presentations for customers at all levels. Participating in customer engagements and presales activities such as project and/or solutions meeting, presentation, RFP responses, BOM creation including professional services requirement. Working closely with ION Business Development Managers to identify pre-sales opportunities and ION Services Leader for service tendering and costing Participating or leading in customer pre-sales engagements and working with other stakeholders to support presales activities, demos, testing, trials Minimum Requirements Degree in Engineering Excellent written and verbal communications skills Experience or certification on network technologies Advanced Excel knowledge Key Knowledge And/or Skills For The Role Ability to effectively identify client business requirements. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make presentations to all levels of an organization. Strong analytical thinking. Ability to prioritize and work independently. Ability to work under pressure Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Self-motivated and results-focused Ability to understand and explain different Service Provider technologies and to communicate technical concepts in non-technical terms. Experience in IP routing and MPLS technologies is a plus IP certificates such as SRA, 3RP, NRSII, JNCIE, CCIE… is a plus Packet Core knowledge is a plus Key Knowledge And/or Skills For The Role At least five years of experience with IP networking for services providers, worked in presales roles and doing hands on. Advanced knowledge of IP routing technologies in large-scale IP networks. Advanced knowledge of base MPLS technologies. Advanced knowledge of MPLS applications such as IP VPNs, L2VPNs and traffic-engineering, SDN, Segment routing. Advanced knowledge of IP-based applications such as triple play and Internet technologies. A strong desire to succeed. Ability to work independently while still achieving the goals stated above. Exposure of working on high value complex deals. Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external parties. Ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills (written & verbal). Self-motivated and results-focused. IP certificates such as SRA, 3RP, NRSII, JNCIE, CCIE… is a plus. Packet Core knowledge is a plus.
