Job Summary Responsible for: network design and planning, capacity management, vendor evaluation, activation and deactivation of customer services, troubleshooting and fault resolution of reported and detected faults. Performs effective maintenance to the equipment to prevent faults from occurring; procurement and installation of equipment for expansion and new services. Responsibilities Monitor and ensure the network uptime is 100% Maintain, monitor, support the network operations and to preform troubleshooting, controlling, configuration and upgradation. Provide vendor management for all ISP's and OEM's to support the infrastructure Implement configurations and implementation instructions into change management system and insure that all approvals and processes are adhered to compliant with Audit Work with the Firewall and Load Balancing team on troubleshooting connectivity issues Work on high and low severity tickets (includes incidents and SR) and adhere to the SLA process Work on End of Life hardware upgrades on head end and remote end devices and insure the asset management is up to date Actively works in performing network monitoring and creating solutions that allow proactive network monitoring. Monitor network devices, software health and network tools health Troubleshoot and resolve internal customer trouble and incident. Works closely with the customer or with the vendor until resolution Perform level 2 network support in case of RMA such as configuring switches, routers and other network devices Document and published approved work instructions and procedures for internal reference Notify customer in the event of an incident and maintenance activity In the event of critical situation or major service outage, NOC will perform crisis management. This includes activating conference bridge and coordination with cross-functional team. Qualifications Willing to work in 24x7 operation to cover different time zone. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years related work experience Demonstrable industry experience (Datacenter services and/or large scale unicast and multicast networks is a big plus) Extensive in-depth knowledge and troubleshooting expertise of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, STP) Strong experience with switching & routing, PAN firewall rules & policy management for an incidents. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience on large enterprise Network and Firewall support. Network certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, F5 and PAN. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience on Juniper EX series switching (JUNOS) and Paloalto Firewall configuration, Policy and rules management. Any experience in technologies like AppNeta, Meraki & Cisco ISE. Familiarity and/or experience with scripting languages and automation tools, with a focus on operationalizing mundane tasks and speeding up deployments Big-picture understanding of the networking concepts behind virtual environments and various hybrid cloud initiatives.
