IT Service Manager at Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As part of the IT Infrastructure & Services Department, the IT Service Manager strategizes and manages the delivery of IT infrastructure solutions and services to meet business's requirements. You will ensure that the IT infrastructure projects are delivered and maintained within schedule, in accordance to the quality and security standards of the Whole of Government. You will be responsible for the performance, tuning, security and capacity planning of the infrastructure assigned. The Key Responsibilities Include Plan, design, implement and manage the end user computing environment comprising desktops, laptops, mobile devices, portable storage media, etc, and the application helpdesk and user account management, to provide exceptional customer service to delight MPA staff, as part of the overall IT Infrastructure service management and delivery team. Ensure the smooth operation of end-user computing operations, as well as managing the performance of the vendors engaged to provide end-user computing services. Support the rollout of Government-wide ICT infrastructure and services initiatives, Responsible for managing processes and procedures related to the identification, prioritisation and resolution of end user help requests, and the monitoring, tracking and coordination of end-user computing functions. Develop, implement and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent service levels and quick resolutions. Responsible for staffing capacity planning, helpdesk process design, performance analysis and developing proactive resolution plans. When necessary, support escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hand-on support to end users. Requirements You should possess at least 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, particularly in managing service desktop and end-user computing. There should be strong technical foundation in Windows, iOS, Andriod, LAN networking, desktop management, desktop security tools and other relevant end-user computing technologies. ITIL certification or equivalent would be useful. In addition, you should have vendor management experience. As this is a stakeholder-facing role, excellent customer service as well as problem solving skills are important.
