Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer at Certis ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Responsibilities The engineer will provide IT Operation and Support for network infrastructure on the Global / Corporate organization including Business Unit, Regional and the branches, working with the local and regional IT Team (stakeholders) based on the tasks, service requests, incidents, and change requests based on approved policy and architectural guidelines. The engineer will be involve to conduct the RFP / RFQ / Tender for the local and regional network infrastructure related (full cycle) from getting the user requirement, propose the solution, work with procurement team, participate in the technical evaluation, project implementation, managed vendors, conduct UAT, and ensure the documentation and close the project. The engineer will involve in the project or lead the project related with network infrastructure, data centre / server room, office relocation local and regional. The engineer is responsible to support and maintain the IT Operation for network infrastructure (end to end), including structured cabling (Fiber Optic OM3/OM4, UTP Cable Cat 5e / Cat 6, multi-pairs), office networks (HQ / Branches), wiring closet, Data Centres. The engineer will be involved to follow up the audit finding related with the network infrastructure / data centre and close the gap on the organization including corporate, business unit and regional. The engineer is responsible to follow up the IT security incident notification and close the related ticket and when necessary also required to take the lead to handle difficult or chronic problems, escalate the issue to vendor, identifying the root cause and preventive measures. The engineer is responsible on the network configuration changes (switch / router / firewall / wireless), keep update / maintain the documentation, inventory and also regularly review of the network performance, capacity planning, and contribute the monthly report. The engineer will work on various type of network equipment such as Core / Distribution / Edge switches, WAN Routers, Wireless controller and access point, Firewall, NAC, Tacacs in the multi-vendor environment such as Cisco, Alcatel, Palo Alto, Fortigate, HP, Huawei and etc. The engineer also responsible to support and maintain the IP PBX, voice logger, VoIP (e.g SIP, RTP, SRTP, etc), VoIP Gateway (e.g Asterisk, Media Gateway), Contact Centre, and IP Phone systems. The engineer is required to stand by 24/7 and expected to be activated upon after the normal business day when needed. Frequent traveling is required to support other offices local and regional. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of experience as network support engineer. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail, effectively prioritize task when under pressure, and experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skill. Mandatory technical certification e.g. CCNP, Fortinet NSE. Mandatory hands-on experience for structured cabling. Mandatory hands-on knowledge experience in network devices such as Router, LAN Switch, Wireless LAN, Firewall and Windows servers. Deep knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, ARP, ICMP, DNS, HTTP. Intermediate knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, WINS, load balancing and firewalling concepts. Intermediate knowledge of system and network security best practices including governance. Preferably with experience to support the network infra for call centre environment. Preferably with experience on SIEM (e.g. Securonix, LogRhythm, Spliunk, etc) Preferably with knowledge to managed Data Centre with more than 30 racks. Preferably have working knowledge of major Cloud platforms provider such as VMware vCloud, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM SoftLayer, etc. Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience with project management skills. Preferably have technical certification e.g. CDCD/CDCP, ITIL, CISSP, PMP. Hits: 1022
