This position requires a hands-on operations network for all Murex APAC offices. You will be leading the network operations tasks and projects following our HQ processes, deploying next generation network technologies in the accordance of the company strategy in this area.

Working closely with our internal and external partners, you will be a hands-on expert for our Network Technologies in the region. Interacting with NOC in Europe so it's important to communicate ideas and information to the business from a non-technical background. We also work very closely with the Network Design and Engineering teams in Europe and as such need to have a good all-round understanding of networks and systems.

Must have significant network technology experience, including the design and release of network technologies to production environments. Security experience is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Murex Monitoring Systems (status and performance of Murex's network)
Handle faults and escalation (identify and respond to faults on Murex's systems and networks, liaise with 3rd party suppliers, handle escalation through to resolution)
Support tier-3 network services (Manage Authorization and Authentication services and processes, network accesses, VLANs¦)
Accommodate for provisioning (IP assignment, core network configuration, FTP accounts and other network services)
Install, upgrade applications and network equipment
Assist in facilities provisioning (install racks, set up power, install Ethernet, fiber and console cabling)
Maintain technical documentation of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
Develop knowledge and skills in network and system administration, particularly with regards to Murex's own architecture and platforms
Work closely with technical teams on different technical projects as requested

Your Profile

3 to 5 years' experience in a Technical Support or similar role.
Experience working within a NOC (Network Operations Center) or ISP environment is a plus.
Experience in using network monitoring software (PRTG, SNMP based ...) is a plus
Experience in using a ticketing software (ServiceNow...) is a plus
Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting IT systems and networking systems
Knowledge of the OSI model
Switching and Internet routing technologies
Firewalls (PaloAlto, ¦)
VPN configuration (IPsec, SSL¦)
Web Filtering & Wan Optimization is a plus
Multi Factor Authentication platforms
Very good understanding of systems and networks
Scripting languages (bash, ansible, python¦) is a plus
Must be fluent in English
ITIL certification is a plus
