PURPOSE
  • To support our client's Asia Pacific Business Development team by providing sales, bid support
  • To support the General Manager - Asia Pacific with management support tasks
Sales Support Activities
  • To manage quotation requests and initial customer quotations/proposals for Asia-Pacific customers
  • Liaise with our client's partners in Asia to request and follow up quotations for services including negotiations to secure best prices and service lead times
  • Liaison and communication with Pre-Sales, Project Management, Partner Management,Service Desk, Finance and other company's functions as required as part of the proposal preparation process
  • To produce of “first cut” customer proposals for review by the Business Development Director
  • Liaise with our client's Asia-Pacific channel customers and act as an effective point of contact for sales enquiries
  • To enter all Sales Opportunities on sales/CRM system (Salesforce)
General Manager Support
  • Tracking, managing payments and filing of incoming invoices from suppliers, scanning and progressing payments with the GM Asia-Pacific and Finance team in the UK
  • Ad-hoc office management duties as required
EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 years minimum work experience, preferably in a sales, project management or administration environment.
  • Previous experience of working in or with and International company is desirable
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Solid secondary education, A level or Diploma level preferred
  • Sales, Administration or Project Management qualifications are desirable
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
  • Good communication skills in English essential (written, spoken and understanding)
  • Well organised and methodical approach to work – able to multi-task
  • Must have a good attention to detail in terms of output and customer facing documents
  • Commercially aware with an understanding of sales activities and financial discipline
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and ensure that tasks get completed on time and to the desired quality
  • Resilient under pressure
  • Tenacious and determined attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to work extra hours when required and open to learning new methods of working
  • Good sense of humour
  • Mandarin language skills very desirable
