Our client offers telecommunication services in more than 200 countries, using the infrastructure of local providers. The overall responsibility of this team is to expand our client's global coverage by proactively exploring the market.. Therefore, this exploration practically entails establishing relations with new providers and improving existing provider relations. Your main tasks in this role as vocal point for vendors will be to:
» Investigate the market for new suppliers and alternative services to expand coverage in order to create new sales opportunities;
» Initiate contact with new providers to check and negotiate practicalities, procedures, price books and product portfolios and coordinate this with procurement;
» Manage the supplier relation with providers;
» Administrate new services in the back office system;
» Act as escalation point for internal departments (e.g. Sales, Account Management Back Office and Provisioning) for example in case of specific customer requests or issues related to the operational performance of providers.
Your Profile
» Bachelor's degree
» Technical knowledge in network services integration between local PTT's and our client's internal infrastructure
» Vendor Negotiation skills
» Affinity with telecommunication services
» Sufficient resolve & creativity to get the job done
» Analytical & communicatively strong
