The APAC Pricing organization is looking for a strong individual contributor to be the primary liaison between Sales, Product line management, Marketing, Corporate Pricing, Finance, and other business partners to align and execute the company's goals and strategic objectives. This individual must complete the assigned tasks following organization and department policies and procedures in a timely matter. The successful candidate must have the ability to work well with a cross functional team and focus on details while managing projects to meet deadlines.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Perform margin and pricing analysis, and execute pricing strategies
  • Enforce pricing policies
  • Recommend and approve pricing and rebate requests
  • Develop and implement pricing tools
  • Analyze rebates for effectiveness, and verify accuracy of input
  • Perform monthly analysis at transactional level to identify price/margin erosion
  • Prepare playbook package - analyze and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profit during negotiation
  • Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting
  • Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margin


Criteria

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline (Business related is preferred), and 5 years relevant professional experience
  • Strong computer skills: Expert knowledge of Excel and proficiency in Access preferred, Vendavo pricing application experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent math skills
  • Strong attention to detail, self directed, organized and efficient at time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and have strong negotiation skills
