1.Be the go-between person between Sales/Presales and Global Channel Partner and chase down Pre Sales Feasibility responses after the Pre Sales person has put it in the system.
2.Prepare basic Sales Proposal documentation such as Powerpoint for standard product (non complex solutions) using available templates and resources.
3.Organise procurement through and raise Purchase Orders through eProcurement for all customer related purchases (assets, cost of sales and Opex). Ensure that governance is adhered to in this respect.
4.Liaise with Service Delivery (Provide) Team and ensure the Sales team is kept up to date of service delivery (local access, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)). This may be accomplished through access to Global Services Operations (GSO) system, interaction with the Provide team and weekly Provide’s report.
5.Prepare Billing and New Bill Creation reports using Excel spreadsheets.
6.Provide customer provision and inventory records as required. This is done through data extraction from the system.
7.Provide billing information as from eBill system, invoices etc to customers
8.Provide support in prospecting initiatives. This would include database mining and preparing mailing list from contacts for customer workshops, seminars etc.
9.To perform intranet updates and administration on the website.
10.To double up in office administration when the Office Administrative Executive is absent.

Qualifications and Experience
The candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 4 years working experience in a Sales Support or Administration capacity. Knowledge and experience in the telecommunications services/IT industry is not necessary but would be an advantage.

The primary qualification for the position is to have gained the necessary skills and competencies through a process of practical experience in similar or related areas of activity over several years. It is likely that the successful applicant will also have a diploma or degree in Business Administration or related studies.

Skills and Competencies
The candidate has to be highly organized and be a finisher. You have to enjoy paperwork, be conscientious and be good with details. You need to have the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic team and fast paced environment. You are independent and display initiative and continually find ways of performing the required tasks efficiently and improve the way to deliver work.

You must process good communication skills as you will be dealing with management and with both internal and external customers. You should have a good command in English – both spoken and written. You would also have strong inter-personal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office will be required. Proficiency with PowerPoint would be an advantage.
