• Providing on-site IT support 8x5 for Singapore Office Users
  • Providing on-call support 24x7 for Singapore Office Users and Back-end infrastructure issues
  • Support Singapore office for all LAN, VOIP, personal computer requirements and issues, both hardware and software.
  • Responsible for the support of company’s communications infrastructure (LAN &) in Singapore.
  • Monitoring tickets logged by Singapore Office User in helpdesk system 8x5.
  • Support all daily operations in Singapore in collaboration with Global Infrastructure team , i.e. daily backup, equipment maintenance, system maintenance, Windows Server maintenance are carried out according to industry standards in conjunction with the Infrastructure & Technology Team.
  • Responsible for 1st level support of Microsoft OS on laptop, blackberries, mobile phone & VOIP phones.
  • Responsible for 1st level support of company's approved software installed on laptops including Microsoft Office packages, personal backup tool and Email Software, unified communication suites & systems management software.
  • Providing arms & legs support and vendor liaison for infrastructure equipment in Singapore office and the regional datacenter hub based in Singapore.
  • Liaison with external IT maintenance personnel, i.e. Dell, Lenovo, Datacraft etc.
  • Ensure corporate IT policies are enforced and adhered to in all sites.
  • Maintain system documentation and procedures ensuring compliance with internal and external auditor standards.
  • IT procedure/policy compliance regarding all new systems accounts setup and privileges as well as off-boarding account management.
  • Liaison with Global Infrastructure Team to ensure all global projects deployment meet all requirements and within implementation timeline.
  • Periodically communicate IT projects timeline an IT awareness to all staff.

  • Able to work with staff at all levels and possess good interpersonal skills to gain their trust and cooperation, particularly to assist staff with their daily system problems and training advice.

Technical Requirements

 

  • Strong personal computer knowledge.
  • Good understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wider Area Network (WAN) concepts and functions.
  • Good understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP and cabling concepts essential, including Frame Relay, MPLS, VPN, leased lines and ISDN.
  • Microsoft and Cisco Certification is preferable.

Salary up to 4K on a 1 year renewable contract basis
