JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Project implementation and to supporting assigned customers
  • Perform on-site fault call support and 24x7 rotational standby support
  • Perform server hardware implementation, upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Perform systems solutions and integration related tasks/project.
  • Perform pre-sales activities supporting LOB and Client Sales.

II) Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in mid-to-large scale planning/install/maintain/ troubleshoot in Windows based environment from vendor and SI background
  • Hands-on skills for Intel-based Server hardware to install/upgrade/ troubleshoot systems from one of the major suppliers i.e. IBM, HP or Fujitsu
  • Deploy, support and upgrade of MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Clusters
  • Some pre-sales roles and has capable to work on tender requirements /proposal *** Candidate must provide information on past projects scopes completed.

Microsoft OS Exposure:
  • Active Directory Planning, Deployment, Migration, Consolidation
  • Windows OS hardening based on MS Best Practice
  • Microsoft Clusters/Network Load Balancing
  • Microsoft Hyper-V Solutions (Advantage)
  • MS Exchange 2003/2007,
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Other
    •  
      • a. CA BrightStor ARCserve Backup and/or Symantec Backup Exec
      • b. Anti-virus Software install/support e.g. MSForefront, Symantec, TrendMicro
Secondary Skills
 
1) VMware Virtualization
  • Plan, Install, configure, manage, troubleshoot ESX
  • VCenter, Vmotion, VCB
  • VDI (Advantage)

IV) Academic Qualification/Professional Certifications
  • Polytechnic Diploma/Degree in IT/Computer related fields
  • MCSA/MCSE 2003 or 2008
  • VMware Certified Profession, VCP3 or VCP4 (Advantage)

VI) Salary range: $3,500 - $5,000
