Our client is looking for  an experienced presales consultant to join their expanding enterprise software sales team.  You will work with customers, account managers and partners to establish the customers need and propose and promote the solution to meet those needs.  
Responsibilities of this role include:  
1.  Together with members of the sales team, investigate, understand and articulate customer business requirements  
2.  Identify customer pain points or areas of concern  
3.  Architect a solution to address the customer’s needs and pains  
4.  Confirm solution fit and identify customer specific benefits that will help contribute to a unique business value offering with demonstrable ROI indicators  
5.  Effectively communicate technical answers to questions customers may have regarding the solution  
6.  Configure applications for proof of concept  
7.  Run product demonstrations  
8.  Keep in touch with customers and look for opportunities to sell the company’s products deeper into the customer base  
9.  Maintain solid, technical understanding of products in conjunction with business benefits  
Skills and Experience required for this role:  
1.  Minimum 5 years experience working with customers in a presales context  
2.  Strong presales background (5 years plus experience)  
3.  Experience in Infrastructure Management tools (HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli, CA eHealth/SPECTRUM or BMC Patrol).  
4.  Technical University degree  
5.  Technical and solution experience in Information Technology (IT) industry, ideally with exposure to enterprise software solutions  
6.  Excellent ability to clearly demonstrate software solutions across a range of technical and business users  
7.  Strong communication skills  
8.  Excellent presentation skills  
9.  Willingness to acquire new skills/product knowledge  
10.  Adaptability and flexibility  
11.  Willingness to take initiative  
12.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
