Key Relationships:
External:
Verizon, SingTel, AT&T, Dell, DataCraft, Software Spectrum, Cisco, Microsoft, other computer hardware, software vendors and telecom service providers.
Internal:
customers,  IT teams in Singapore and Asia, when required, email team in US, Back Office COE (global teams), Active Directory team in US, infrastructure teams in other world areas, various project teams.
Main Purpose of Job:
Meet business and function needs in supporting Singapore office including WAN, LAN, PABX, servers, personal computer requirements and issues, both hardware and software.
Support Singapore office for all LAN, PABX, personal computer requirements and issues, both hardware and software.
· Responsible for the development and support of our client’s communications infrastructure (LAN & WAN) in Singapore.
· Ensure all daily operations in Singapore , i.e. daily backup, equipment maintenance, system maintenance, NT Server maintenance and MS Exchange maintenance are carried out according to industry standards in conjunction with the our client's Infrastructure & Technology Team.
· Responsible for support of Microsoft OS, Blackberry, and ALTIRIS
· Liaison with external IT maintenance personnel, i.e. IBM, HP
· Ensure corporate IT policies are enforced and adhered to in all sites.
· Maintain system documentation and procedures ensuring compliance with internal and external auditor standards.
· IT procedure/policy compliance regarding all new systems accounts setup and privileges as well as off-boarding account management.
· Liaison with MNS Team to ensure all global projects deployment meet all requirements and within implementation timeline.
· Periodically communicate IT projects timeline and IT awareness to all staff.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
· Budgetary planning.
· Ability to handle high volume work with competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
· Good analytical skills, an ability to understand company business and the impact of effective infrastructure upon business performance.
· Experience working with a global IT infrastructure.
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision, able to manage projects and take total responsibility for all tasks assigned from start to finish.
· Able to work with staff at all levels and possess good interpersonal skills to gain their trust and cooperation, particularly to assist staff with their daily system problems and training advice.
Strong personal computer knowledge.
· Good understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wider Area Network (WAN) concepts and functions.
· Good understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP and cabling concepts essential, including Frame Relay, MPLS, VPN, leased lines and ISDN.
· MCSE and CCNA is a must, A+ certification would be preferred.
