Responsible for 24/7 Network Monitoring, Isolating and troubleshooting Tier 1 and Tier 2 network issues using various monitoring tools.
2. Troubleshooting WAN related problems arising on frame-relay, leased-lines and ISDN circuits.
3. Troubleshooting Routing related problems with regard to configured protocols like OSPF,RIP V2,EIGRP.
4. Responsible for maintaining proper routing tables.
5. Identifying, Isolating, Opening Tickets and coordinating with multiple World Wide Telecom Companies as per Guidelines.
6. Analyzing connectivity problems, interpreting testing results and determining if the client\rquote s equipment/circuits, vendor connection lines or routers are the cause and initiate measures for prompt rectification.
7. Coordinating network repairs and dispatching the appropriate vendor/specialist depending on the error determination.
8. Overall Responsible for ensuring the Network uptime of our Client Wide Area Networks.
9. Responsible for daily job backups using Omnibackup and Autosys Job Monitor.
10. Managing Storage Start of day checks using EMC Clarion and Connectrix Manager.
