Alliance Manager


This position is responsible for identifying, pursuing and closing strategic alliance opportunities that support the division and Corporate Strategy imperatives. The individual will also be responsible for establishing strong relationships with fellow leaders within the company, including Business Unit Strategy office and Operating company’s sales and marketing team members who will be crucial in identifying opportunities and engaging target companies. They will manage key strategic alliances and lead key strategic projects as well as meet clear and measurable commitments to internal customers and external partners and clients in a timely manner.

1.  Responsible for growing and retaining the relationship with a strategic business partner(s) including overall ownership of the partnership.  
2.  Development and effective implementation of consistent processes to identify, validate, plan and launch new business initiatives with this strategic partner that have multi-regional or global potential for the Company.  
3.  Launch execution and leadership of new business development initiatives, including follow-up to assure programs are implemented and sustained.  
4.   Development of successful relationships between the company and partner’s management team.  
5.  Insuring a framework for success with the partnership teams to enable meeting or exceeding stated alliance goals as measured by appropriate metrics consistent with the overall Alliance business model, and the short and long term business direction.  
6.  Work within the Global Accounts Teams and Lines of Business teams to effectively enrich the corporation’s partnering and alliance building skills and business processes leading to competitively advantaged alliance management capacity for the company. Format sentence using 1. Selection Criteria:  
7.  10+ years experience in the Business Process Outsourcing, IT Services or Document Services Industry  
8.  2+ years experienced in identifying, pursuing and closing successful strategic alliances.  
9.  Strong background in successfully negotiating complex agreements.  
10.  Successful track record of identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue through innovation and leveraged partner arrangements.  
11.  Proven track record of successfully building relationships and negotiating with senior executives within organizations.  
12.  Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including presentations, phone and email.  
13.  Regional experience is desired.
