Regional Business Development Manager (data coms products)

Manage a team of business development managers covering Data, Access and Mobile Network technologies across the APAC region
Lead a small team of Business Managers focused on different technolgies/regions.
Provide mentorship on solution strategies and application packaging
Establish guildines and a conceptual framework for effective business development.
Set measurable goals and track progress and results providing continuous feedback to reinforce positive behavior and to highlight areas of improvement
Create opportunities for subordinates’ professional and career growth.

Increase market and customer awareness of our client's current and future solutions
Providing market feedback to our client's R&D teams on APAC market directions and future customer needs.
Establish close relationships with high level service provider executives (e.g. CTOs, Network Planning VPs, etc.)
Work in tandem on their network evolution strategies.
Provide technical and business consulting to customer technical, operations and marketing teams, and gain a thorough understanding of their future requirements.
Position and generate demand for our client's solutions.
Develop solution white papers and presentations incorporating our client's various products and technologies, linking technical features to business opportunities that can lead to new revenue streams for service providers.
Understand the competitive landscape and devise solutions which highlight the superiority and advantages of our client's products relative to others in the market.
Deliver solution marketing presentations at industry conferences and our client's marketing events (e.g. road shows, seminars, customer/partner training).
Provide input to internal Product Management groups on APAC customer future product/feature requirements, timining and price points.

Develop a solid pipeline of sales opportunities that may be 12 to 24 months away.
Gather market intelligence and develop recommendations for new project initiatives and business alliances
Develop vertical and horizontal market segmentation and go-to-market strategies
Get advance information on customer newtwork expansions and buildouts planned for 12 to 24 months into the future Influence customer thinking to initiate new projects and create new business opportunities for our client's unique solutions
Develop a network of channel partners to complement APAC’s direct sales force and provide wider market coverage across the region
Engage APAC sales managers and BSG SSE’s to follow up on opportunities identified through customer interactions. 

At least 8 to 10 years overall working exp
Experience in Data and/or Access Technologies
Most relevant previous roles include:
- Business Development Manager
- Technical Sales Engineers
- Telecom Consulting Solution
- Technical Marketing Management experience preferred but not required
