Principal Project Manager (European Telco)

Key Requirements - Education & proficiency Level Required

Electronics/ Electrical engineering or Diploma 
Certification achieved in recognised project management methodology – PMI, QPMP or PRINCE 2
MBA is desired
Chinese language skill – verbal is desired
   
Key Skills and Experience
===============
The individual will need to have the following core skills and experience:
Experience and Knowledge
Should have 10 – 12 years of experience, out of which at least 5 years in managing telecom and Networking related complex global projects
Ability to simplify complex solutions and present to senior management and business leaders
Should be thorough with Networking and telecommunications concepts and components, product knowledge on at least one of the following - Nortel, Alcatel or Lucent.
Experience and knowledge on Cisco range of products, both voice and Data. Excellent understanding of MPLS PE and CE family of routers for large enterprises is highly desirable
On the ground experience working with telecom service providers across Asia especially in provisioning of MPLS, ATM and customised solutions
Has up to date knowledge and awareness of telecom market, competitive scenario on service offerings in multiple geographies, specifically in Asia Pac.
Proven experience in setting  and monitoring  performance against project milestones
Good understanding of Voice, IP and data products, and capabilities
