Regional Program Manager (Product Delivery)

Our client a global navigation product company

Position purpose:
To manage the high-level planning of the database program and product development for the APAC core map portfolio. To ensure that the portfolio of products/projects are delivered in agreed timeline, scope and cost.

Main accountabilities:

Responsible for the planning, tracking, and managing the portfolio of core product conversions. Ensure the products meet the scope, timeline and expectations set by the Product Managers. Address production issues with APAC Operations team and other groups within the TA organizations. Monitor the documentations of the projects and progress of the projects. Coordinate the release of products with Global Product Managers and APAC Operations teams. (40%)
Responsible for maintaining ISO/TS quality requirements. Lead the APQP activities and manage the program management process. Coordinate with APAC Quality team to define actions to improve the production process, improve efficiency, and product time to market. Support the APAC Quality team in FMEA activities.(15%)
Responsible for managing the introduction of new processes or products in the core map portfolio. Coordinate with global teams and APAC Database Production and Product Create teams to manage the technology transfer and set up for APAC. (15%)
Negotiate with Global Product Management and APAC Database Production and Product Create teams to address APAC customer requirements and address issues raised by customers.(15%)
Coordinate the APAC product benchmarking activities with APAC Customer Delivery and Market Research. Plan, consolidate and publish the benchmarking data for the APAC organization.(15%)

Education
=========
University degree in Engineering or Information Technology. MBA would be an advantage.

Work experience:
=========
Preferred experience for this position: 8-10 years working experience in engineering or IT industry.
At least 4-5 years managing projects within APAC region.
Regional program management experience will be an advantage.
