Deal Architect (outsourcing services)

annual total cash of S$150k to S$200k.

The role holder shapes and develops specific Solutions or Outsourcing business opportunities, and is involved in closing deals, negotiating contracts, terms and pricing. This requires the qualification and subsequent development of business opportunities in direct consultation with the customer, and the establishment and maintenance of close working relationships with the account team who act as the direct channel to market.
The Deal Architect will also provide direction to and lead the commercial management team during the bid cycle. The Deal Architect will obtain all relevant inputs and develop a comprehensive, compelling and winning proposition that minimizes risk for the client and our client and meets the clients business and technology objectives, Finally, he/she will work with all relevant groups to help develop the final contract in readiness for hand-over to the Contract/Business Management team.

Principle Responsibilities include:

Work with Account and Pursuit Management teams to uncover and qualify opportunities for delivery of complex managed or outsourced our client's solutions
Develop working relationships with all business management groups (Finance Management, Contract Management, Technical Design, Service Design etc.)
Develop and Deliver customer presentations to prospective clients regarding our client's global capabilities and experience
Creatively influence sales strategies based on an in-depth knowledge of our client's capabilities and client business objectives
Provide leadership and direction to bid response teams resulting in competitive winning proposals
Provide customer and market feedback to our client regarding competitive alignment of our client's products and services
Lead contract negotiation initiatives to ensure profitability of managed or outsourced contracts.

Business/management qualification or equivalent job experience.

At least 5 years experience in pre-sales support developing outsourced and managed services solutions for enterprise organizations
Experience of independently driving and developing profitable business.
Highly skilled and experienced negotiator able to quickly build effective relationships, with senior, key influential external decision-makers.
Experience delivering C-Level presentations to enterprise organizations
An innovative approach and an expert grasp of technology and technical solutions available to drive commercial benefits, is an essential requirement of the role.
Significant Industry experience in a Telecommunications /outsourcing/business solutions/ customer facing environment.
Experience selling complex enterprise solutions involving the following technologies and services: Managed Data Networks, Managed Voice, Convergence, MPLS, Application Hosting, Call Center Solutions
Experience developing financial models used in large complex solutions including an understanding of the elements associated with profitability, margin analysis, cost analysis
In-depth understanding of potential business benefits derived through technology implementation
Direct involvement in contract negotiations with an understanding of how contract terms can effect long term profitability
