Regional Field Application Engineer (FAE) - Telecommunications

Our client is a global leader in running end to end product testing. Their test automation software tools enable quality assurance folks to create, execute, manage, and analyse, using software framework. Their tools are used to test products across many industries. For this role the application engineer will focus on the telecommunicatons hardware, device, and embedded system testing.

The Field Engineer will be responsible for technical support to sales by providing technical knowledge to clients in the Telecommunications test automation world

Provide support for both pre/post sale by conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations and implementations
Attending and participating in sales/technical meetings, product seminars and trade shows
Develop positive relationships with current and potential customers
Reporting to Sales Manager

Skills

1. 5-7 years experience working for telecom network operators, service providers and/or equipment vendors with a focus on test automation

2. R&D experience of 3-5 year as team lead
3. Experience with IP performance test solutions (Ixia, Spirent, etc.)
4. Experience with TCP/IP, SNMP, Web Services, HTTP, and other protocols
5. Presentation skills
6. Strong interpersonal and communicational skills
7. Leadership and motivation
8. Ability to work as part of a Team
9. Ability to work under stress with extensive work hours
10. High self-learning ability
11. BE/BTech/MTech in Electronics & Communications/Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, MBA a plus

Regional Travelling to Japan, Taiwan, China, Australia and south Korea.up to 25% is expected
