Lead a team and responsible for:

• Produce coherent technical proposals that meets the customer requirements and comply with company's technical strategy
• Understand the technical dependencies between the various projects delivering the proposal and work with service line tower leads to ensure proper communication and alignment
• Interface into the customers equivalent architecture team to facilitate design approvals where necessary
• Ensure that all ITAs on the account (Business as usual ITAs, Transformation ITAs and other project ITAs) have a consistent understanding of work taking place across the account.
• Support the development and use of Technical Strategy

Job Requirements

• Key SME for NETWORK and SECURITY
• Proven skills in solutioning and designing customer architectures across Network & Security stack.
• Proven track record of delivery in a variety of Technical Architecture roles.
• Experience of working for an organization in the IT services or consultancy arena
• A solid background in a combination of infrastructure / data centre / networks / storage workplace / Identity / Sharepoint / Unified Comms / Disaster Recovery / Collaboration / Virtualisation / Sustainability (Greener IT) / Security Technology arenas.
• Involvement in presentations to senior management levels
• Good analytical skills and an ability to define and articulate the precise nature of any given situation appropriately to the target audience whether technical or non-technical.
• Microsoft technologies - Windows Server 200x, XP/Windows 7 desktops, AD/group Policy, System Center tool suite, MOSS, Exchange, SQL etc
• Hardware - rack mounted servers, blades, chassis, structured cabling, iSCSI and fibre connectivity
• Storage - NAS, SAN and locally attached storage and connectivity to devices
• Networks - deep technical understanding of network technologies, network design, Technical specialist for at least 4 Networks technology areas (WAN, LAN, Voice, WiFi, Remote Access, Internet / Firewalls / IDS / IPS), Cisco, Juniper
• Other skills would be beneficiary such as Citrix, Red Hat Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, Oracle, Openview, Unicenter, BMC Atrium, USD, security accredited networks.
