• Day-to-day operations; respond to tickets, monitor jobs status, troubleshoot errors etc.
• Process backup job(s) requests (add/modify/delete).
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) & audit exercises when required.
• Monthly reporting; not limited to Capacity & Availability reports.
• Provide recommendations for tech refresh and/or optimization.
• Provide recommendations for Backup Setup etc, for new tender proposal(s).
• Backup s/w upgrade(s) as and when required.
• Coordinate/Lead project rollout(s) for upgrade(s) / tech refresh.
• Maintain all system, operational, process documentations.
• After office hours standby.

Job Requirements

• Min 2 years IT experience.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows, SAN (BCV) & DR concepts & ITIL Processes.
• Experience in Legato NetWorker, DPM & EMC Data Domain preferred.
• Knowledge in Virtualization & network will be advantageous.
• Able to perform after office hours standby duties.
• Team player.
