RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides Level 2 Incident management and Problem management support
- Complete Adhoc assignments as may be assigned by the team manager
- Experience in leading a technical call in troubleshooting incidents towards resolutions
- Experience in performing remote technical support
- In dept understanding of operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols
- In dept understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, etc
- In dept understanding of firewalls and different deployment architecture
- In dept understanding of sniffer and how to use sniffer for troubleshooting purposes
- Ability to analyse and rectify complex faults on network
- Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations, clearly articulates ideas and thoughts verbally or through mail
- Create, Review and Approve changes through change management process
- Experience in working in NOC environment desired
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years of related experience with prior experience in Security Level 2 support.
- Having prior technical (Security VPN/Firewalls & Networking LAN/WAN) experience is an advantage
- Technical experience preferably with the following domain knowledge –
- Security (Firewalls, VPN)
- Remote Access Service
- Routing protocols
- CCNA, CCNP certification preferred, Knowledge of any of the following:
- Cisco, Riverbed, Juniper, Nortel, Mcafee, Checkpoint, VitalNet
- Should have exposure to ITIL, proven client focused skills, ability to ascertain priority levels
- Ability to work in an international & multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in Global NOC environment desired
- Ability to prioritise & multitask
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to relate and interact effectively at all levels
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent client service skills and client facing skills
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the teams needs
