- Provide technical presales, implementation and delivery expertise support for mega, regional and global contracts
- Provide training and second level technical support to the Opco Technical Analysts
- Collect and analyse requirements and translate into platform configuration for mega, regional and global deals.
- Define, implement and maintain regional standards for platform configuration, service delivery processes and reporting
- Develop customised reports and solutions when required to meet clients or operations needs
- Deployment of technology to the region in alignment with regional standards and strategy
- Document regional technology standards
- Participate in evaluation and acceptance testing of new technology tools
- Document and submit Feature Enhancement Requests and Bug fixes
- Participate in regional and global teleconferences as required
Skills / Essential Job Functions:
- Interpret business requirements into solution specifications
- Communicate and articulate business needs and desires to technical community
- Relate technical solutions into business terminology for all user types (field and HQ)
- Understand and review technical documentation
- Provide Training as required
- Read terms and conditions, statements of work, service level agreements to determine how best to incorporate such into the application
- Travel is required
Essentials
- Bachelors Degree in IT / Computer Science, or equivalent skills and certification
- 5 years experience in the IT field
- 5 years experience with digital printing, finishing and mailing workflow related technologies and associated applications
- Strong PC and Microsoft Office Suite skills required (advanced user)
- Strong problem solving skills required
- Use of critical thinking required
- Leadership Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail required
- Highly motivated
- Ability to interact with people from different levels and backgrounds
- Ability to shift from individual contributor to team player as required
Desired
- 2 to 5 year managed service operations particularly print room, mailroom and creative services.
- Understanding of contractual language
- Project management certified
- Problem solving skills demonstrated to identify and resolve critical issues
- Web, database and reports related developments experience especially using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- 1 years experience operating in an international environment
- Ability to work independently
