Main Responsibilities:

Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
Monitors and assures that policies and procedures related to accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and security are followed by project team members and departmental personnel in the implementation and maintenance of information systems.
Good understanding of the communication devices in the market.
Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of Active directory and VPN gateways
co-ordinate the execution of company-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Assist to develop an infrastructure and security architecture for ENTERPRISE, including hardware and software components, definition of the network perimeter and catalog of information resources and assets.

Experience/ Skills/ Abilities

Degree in IT with minimum 3 years of IT experience
Good Microsoft Product knowledge: Windows Server 2003/2008 and 2012
Good VMware and Citrix background; building, configuring and maintaining systems
Professional certification on the above will be advantageous
Detailed knowledge of LAN, WAN, Internet, Extranet and Intranet technologies and architectures.
Detailed knowledge or server management and storage technologies
Strong knowledge and awareness of security strategies, processes and tools with familiarity with intrusion detection systems, network security and network management best practices
Overall knowledge of computer operations, network operations, server management, firewall management, software distribution and security policies and principals
Strong and thorough knowledge of key hardware and software providers
Strong and thorough knowledge with data replication, data protection, data provisioning, and data virtualization technologies.
Strong and thorough understanding of high availability and disaster recovery principles, technologies and procedures.
General understanding of system networking; load balancing, firewalls, routers, switches
Understanding concepts Help Desk Support, Incident, and Problem Management and Datacenter/Server Operational Components (Monitoring, Management, etc.
