You will be responsible for development and maintenance work & support on supply-chain ERP product and performing the role of Scrum Master for the local scrum team.This position is accountable for upholding the Scrum values principles and practices.

This position will promote self-organization within the scrum team and so the Scrum Master will work with the team so that they will learn to function independently and take accountability for delivery and quality.

Reponsibilities

• Ensure that SCRUM rules are understood and respected by the team, product owners, and product management.
• Liaise with the business owners and business analysts in order to further clarify the business specifications.
• Ensure that the team’s actions are always aligned with the acceptance criteria and project goals.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies.
• Minimize errors by taking an organized approach to work assignments.
• Help the team identify conflicting priorities and escalates issues that cannot be resolved quickly
• Does not shy away of any tasks that could help the team and leads by
• example
• Support the team during sprint planning in creating valuable tasks that can be completed in the sprint.
• Ensure that the team respects the definition of “done”.
• Support the product owners in ensuring the items in product backlog are in “ready” state.
• Formulate creative questions that will make the team more intuitive during sprint planning, product backlog grooming.
• Monitor the sprint progress and ensure that the stakeholders are aware of the risks and impediments.
• Monitor team velocity and motivate the team to constantly increase their velocity.
• Provide feedback to team leaders and development managers on team member performance during evaluations
• Challenge the product owner to improve product backlog contents quality by breaking them into more manageable items.
• Challenge the team to organize and to keep improving their skills and apply it towards more agile mindset and way of working.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate should meet the following pre-requisites:
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master is a must.
• At least 8 years working experience in software development projects using Agile and XP methodologies.
• Experience in the aeronautics business domain with a preference for Air Cargo Logistic domain.
• Practical experience of the main IT processes: requirements management, development, integration, support, maintenance.
• Specific requirements:
• Certified Scrum master is a must.
• Deep knowledge of the Scrum management framework applied in a global software development organization.
• Experienced in Lean Software development.
• Sound knowledge of extreme programming principles.
• Pragmatic experience in Atlassian software suite specifically with Jira, Confluence, Fisheye and Bamboo.
• Demonstrated coaching experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experienced in modeling with UML.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Ability to implement industrial requirement management practices.
• Capable of working in a pressured environment.
• Good analytical skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving and a consensus builder.
• A strong motivator , communicator and negotiator.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written) is mandatory; other languages will be considered as assets.

Education and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Management or Equivalent
• Certified SCRUM Master
