System Manager, IT & Operations

Job Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day support of systems to meet operational needs.
Manage relationship between internal users and vendors.
Manage systems’ total cost of ownership and budgets for running of systems.
Plan, manage and execute systems’ roadmap.
Plan for systems upgrade and refresh.
Understand and recommend OLA that can meet business needs for support, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Perform simple project management:
- Initiating  business case definition and project charter
- Planning project planning, timeline, costing and project plan signoff
- Execution requirements gathering, project implementation, meetings, documentation, training and UAT
- Monitoring & Control project update, change management and escalation
- Closing project closure, payment and transition to support
Negotiation for scope of work, validating of solution, proposal and recommendations

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of relevant hands on experience in systems and applications management
Prior experience in project management skills will be an added advantage
Prior experience in implementing and/or managing of ERP and HRMS
Experience in supporting HR and Finance operations
Experience in application support and management (COTS System and Databases)
Strong Knowledge of cloud technologies and software development lifecycle methodologies
ITIL experience is required, but certification is optional
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken with a flair of reaching out to people of all levels
