Role Purpose

The Project Business Analyst works closely with internal key stakeholders to understand the respective processes and challenges, drawing inferences from these process details and link these inferences to the big picture by considering business objectives to identify process improvements.He/She will assist in reviewing all current processes and systems, and thereafter creating and recommending streamlined processes to ensure a smooth integration.

This person will partner closely with the various business functions to understand and have their buy in and translatethe business requirement for the IT team for systems implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage requirement gathering and clarification from users/stakeholder
• Be able to actively engage stakeholder in requirement workshop participation
• Managed and own stakeholder and vendors engagement.
• Maintain a holistic view of the entire business
• Learn and develop into a super user of Adobe Marketing Suite and MS CRM software
• Compose High-Level Definition document
• Be able to consolidate requirements into documentation to respective vendors
• Compose test cases, lead users in composing test cases , perform SIT and pre-user acceptance testing (Pre-UAT) before actual UAT
• Document training manual and provide train-to-trainer to the markets
• Support and direct data migration and data validation, data cleansing if required

Qualifications, attributes and experience

• Degree in Business, IT or equivalent
• 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst or practitioner in the business process domain
• Strong business analysis, consultative, facilitation and interpersonal skills
• Strong stakeholder management and people skills
• Experience in mapping business processes, writing user story and requirement
• Experience in managing multiple system deployment project as a BA
• Attention to detail, analytical, problem solving, organized, fast learner and keen interest to learn.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Understanding and commitment to IT as a retail and business intelligence function
• Good understanding in education industry will be advantageous.
• Project Management knowledge will be advantageous
