IT Project Manager

· Responsible for providing professional project management support to Global and Regional IT projects, provide oversight and enforcement of OUR CLIENT'S   Project Management standard tool and process.
· Assist in improving IT operational process in the Singapore OUR CLIENT'S  office and OUR CLIENT'S  sites in the Asia region. The project management support responsibilities include close technical oversight of all OUR CLIENT'S  project that aligns to   OUR CLIENT'S  global Project Management Office (gPMO) standard practises.


Major Responsibilities
· Project Management Support
- Ensure that project management principles and practices are being applied through project life cycle. It covers project scope management, integration management, time management, cost management, quality management, human resource management, communications management, risk management and procurement management.
- Plans and manages multiple IT projects with responsibility for coordinating efforts between OUR CLIENT'S  sites, various functional and corporate groups.
- Creates, evaluates and communicates project plans and objectives and key stakeholders management
- Develops, track and report project progress with respect to time, resources, budget and demonstrate results. Modifies schedules as and when required.
- Identify and manage cross-project dependencies and resolve conflicts priorities.
- Facilitate and ensure cross-functional resource support for projects.
· Standard Tool and Process
- Provide guidance and technical oversight to OUR CLIENT'S  site leaders in adopting gPMO standard tools and process for local project execution,
- Adherence to OUR CLIENT'S  Project Management Framework (PMF) principles and coordinate/ assist in the implementation of  MS Enterprise Project Management (EPM) tool regionally
· Improve IT Operational Process
- Drive periodic review and or development of  IT operational process across different functions to enhance operational and costs efficiency
- Establish quality and performance objectives.
· Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.

Competencies Required
· Strong IT background on IT infrastructure delivery and service management that includes IT operations, network, facility, servers’ management, end users services, call center, compliance, security, outsourcing and offshoring.
· Knowledgeable with project management principle, practices and methodology.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate, manage, and ensure the success of medium to large multi-faceted projects.
· Ability to lead one or more projects, which may involve one or multiple technical and operations disciplines and teams.
· Familiar with ITIL and ITSM principles and practices
· Strong influencing skills at all levels and ability to develop and maintain good relationships.
· Ability to deal with ambiguous situations, complex concepts and details.
· Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
· Must be self-motivated and highly profession with strong English verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
· Highly proficient with the use of Microsoft software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
· Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a small or large team.

Principal Relationships

Inside the company
· Develop effective relationships with global, regional and markets OUR CLIENT'S  colleagues.
· Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders in the businesses and business IT groups in Asia Pacific region.

Outside the company
· Develops effective relationships with third party vendors and outsourced service providers that are related to assigned projects.
· Contact with personnel from other companies having similar responsibility.

Supplementary Information

Education
· University education with major in IT/ IS or comparable; PMI certification highly preferred

Experience
· Have 10+ years of IS/ IT related experience
· Have 4+ years of professional project management experience with implementation of global or regional or multi-sites IT projects
· Proven experience in utilizing project management methodologies, best practices and processes.
· Proficient with the use of Microsoft software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
· Have knowledge of ITIL / ITSM operational model
· Have worked in a multinational, global or regional environment and capacity

Travel & Overtime
· Willing to travel internationally and within Asia Pacific as and when required.
· Willing to work overtime and unusual hours as and when required by projects.
