Storage Specialist (presales and postsales deployment)

This is a post sales role. Reporting to the Technical/Solutions Manager, the candidate is expected to engage customers to deliver projects in a timely manner. Candidates with presales capability are strongly preferred.

Requirements:

. At least 1-2 years experience in SAN storage & cluster ware (Symantec Availability, Microsoft, VMWare or Linux/open source solutions). Candidates should have at least one of these skill sets

. Experience in enterprise backup solutions (Symantec NetBackup/Backup Exec)

. Experience in Microsoft solutions (e.g. Windows 2008 Server, Exchange 2010 migration) is an advantage

· Knowledge in systems (Windows 2003/2008, Linux or UNIX)

· Presales experience is preferred

· Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a proactive, positive approach to work

· Able to work independently or as a team and remain highly motivated. Opportunity to work in the region

· Singapore Citizen/SPR

· Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Candidates with relevant experience will be considered

· Candidates from a SI or project delivery background are preferred
