Data Architect (healthcare)


o   The specification of data architectures, identifying the data components needed to meet present and future requirements and; the associated business workflow, the definition and the interrelationships between these components.

o   The provision of direction and guidance on all information aspects of the development of, and modifications to, data information systems to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing and planned systems and information infrastructure remain compatible.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Generic responsibilities:
o   Support of business processes, including usability and performance
o   Leads development of systems architectures, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers.
o   Ensures that appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to.
o   Co-ordinates design activity, within a programme, acting as custodian of plans for information infrastructure.
o   Informs project management of major issues and makes recommendations on their resolution.
o   Support the Enterprise Architect and Project Manager.
o   Contributes to the Target Enterprise Architecture
o   Ensuring that possible future business requirements and strategies can be accommodated.

Specific responsibilities:
o   Manages the activities required and produces artifacts to creation and maintain an Enterprise Information Model that forms the basis of integration architecture, interface and messaging model and data migration;
o   Analysis, design and logical data modelling across client legacy application estate, enabling appropriate mapping into target architecture for one or more releases.
o   Strategy development for Semantic interoperable Terminology services

Key Deliverables:
o   As Is data models identification
o   Draft and Final To be Enterprise wide data model
o   Business Process Model
o   Semantic interoperable terminology services strategy

Qualification and Experience:
o   Minimum Bachelors degree in related field
o   Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in complex IT project implementation including healthcare preferably in Singapore
o   understanding of the healthcare system in Singapore an advantage
o   Experience in HL7 knowledge essential
o   Experience in XSD/XML language essential
o   Experience in  data modeling essential
o   Experience in healthcare ontologies an advantage
o   Experience of SQL and oracle database set up and querying essential
o   Experience of Data Warehouse design
o   Experience in java technologies essential
o   Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills
o   Self - motivated, independent, fast learner and results oriented
o   Experience in project management/leading a team
o   Good communication and interpersonal skills
o   Good working attitude and able to work effectively in a team
