Information Security Engineer (wintel)

Key accountabilityRole Responsibility                   
- operational and project-based support for all Wintel platforms and security tools/infrastructure,                      
- identifying business risks/vulnerabilities and suggesting enhancements  for the IT infrastructure under management, 
- assisting with identification of security requirements for new IT projects and solutions,                          
- evaluating and making recommendations on new security technologies and products, and advising on implementation into existing environments without interruption to services,
- liaising with other business units in the identification of controls and preparation of reports to management on security status and incidents, with focus on Wintel platform,                      
- assisting with development, deployment and maintenance of security policies, procedures, standards and strategies,              
 - assisting with development of security tools (where required) to provide customised security solutions.                      
- assisting with security awareness training programs,          
- investigating, responding to, and reporting on, security incidents as   directed,                                 
- implementing security technologies under the direction of the IT Security Manager,                             
- monitoring and advising on emerging security technologies, issues and  directions.
