Solution Consultant (storage presales)

The Solution Consultant role is responsible for the development of the storage solution.
Key Responsibilities
· Providing operational and technical expertise
· Participating in Presales Engagement
· Communicating Product Development and technical activities to customers
· Designing and Solutioning
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Solution Architecting which involves End to end Systems Architecture and Integration, Consulting for IT planning and business
In depth project experiences using IBM or similar vendor related Solutions, particularly on Storage & System focus
Core technology exposure covering RDBMS, J2EE, .NET, VB, C++, HTML, etc is preferred
Microsoft/Virtualizations certifications (MCSE, VMWare or equivalent) and Storage Certifications (e.g. Tivoli, Symantec Veritas) are preferred
Proven presales & consulting accomplishments or track records in solution selling required is an essential
Project Management experience in the implementation of successful systems integration projects is a bonus.
