Position Summary

To convert business requirements into functional system specifications so as to enable the Product Development process to develop products that meets business needs.

Job Responsibilities

To understand and analyse business requirements to ensure completeness of business requirements definition deliverables from functional perspective.

To document functional specifications based on business requirements definitions in standards-based modeling format for software development purpose.

To develop functional test cases to ensure compliance of functional features and capturing of exceptions cases to ensure business needs are satisfied.

To research, develop and knowledge transfer functional modeling techniques that can improve speed, accuracy and clarity of modeling business functions for software development purpose.

To manage a team of technical writers to perform documentation and screen-prototyping.

To work closely with Architect team in the development of technical and non-functional specifications.

To collaborate with Project Management Office to ensure timely delivery of products that meet business requirements and quality metrics

To backup the role of Business Analyst when necessary to ensure service continuity

To create System Operational Guide framework and to coordinate with the development team in developing the module’s operational guide for new systems to enable Service Support Team to provide efficient support.

Education & Experience

Degree holder in Computer Science related discipline

Minimum 4 years of functional analysis experience, preferably in banking or online-gaming industry

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Strong knowledge of web technologies

Strong knowledge of business modeling tools and techniques (e.g. UML, Use Cases, IEEE 12207, etc)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

Strong understanding of mathematical models

Able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing industry.

Bilingual (English and Chinese), both oral and written is preferred

Good negotiation skills

Good Presentation skills
